UCJC Worker's Conference

Hey everyone, this must be the season of leadership conferences. Starting today the United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) is having there Worker's Conference. This conference is taking place in Columbia, South Carolina from February 22 - 23, 2013. The organization has separated the conference in four different tracks Music and Worship, Church Administration and Management, Pastoral/Ministers, and Discovering Your Purpose. I think it is awesome that they decided to seperate the conference like this, to me this gives any and everyone an opportunity to be apart. What really impressed me was the last track Discovering Your Purpose I personally believe there are so many people in the church who do not know what there true purpose is or are not working in the area of there true purpose. Being a son of this organization I truly know that the presiding bishop, Bishop Monroe Saunders, is a man of educating yourself and better yourself for the cause of ministry. Throughout the day everyone will seperate into there various tracks and attend sessions that deal with each one of those areas. The Conference should be a great experience and a place where people learn. God Bless!!!
